We realize that our site hasn’t been updated for a while, apologies for that. Hopefully we’ll get around to it soon, along with a few long-awaited improvements to the site. We’re working hard on this, fitting it in between a busy schedule of exciting work. 2009 has been a busy year here at c.a, new clients, new work, and new prospects. Sit tight and we show you more soon.
Here’s to a rewarding 2010.
We’ve been so happily busy completing the redesign of Uryutsushin—Kyoto University of Art & Design (KUAD), quarterly magazine—that we completely forgot to say anything about our Pecha Kucha presentation last night at Nishinomiya Konan CUBE. You’ll be happy to know everything went well, even if we were a little nervous. Roger Palmer, one of the organisers of the event had this to say about our presentation: “I think a lot of people were genuinely awed by what they saw”.

Our work for Alton Miller’s ‘Selected Works’ and ‘Souls Like Mine’ feature in the new book, ‘Color In Graphics’ published by maomao publications and edited by Ana Labudović. (ISBN 978–981-245–663-2)
From the introduction:
“The array of colors, images and languages that surround us is so vast that we are constantly discovering new meanings to everything we see. In this book, we feature and categorize a selection of contemporary graphic design and illustrations we feel intentionally or subliminally provoke certain sensations.”
The book also features an interview with Japanese designer and art director Taku Satoh notable for his direction for 21_21 DESIGN SITE in Tokyo.
